My two children are mixed. We need to start NOW by spreading awareness on the percentage of babies that don’t see themselves in what they read. Everyone needs someone to look up to.
All children deserve to be represented by those they see in books!
Because I could have benefitted from seeing myself in the books I was reading as a kid.
We live in a very diverse neighborhood and everyone deserves representation.
Fighting racism and xenophobia are important to us. Our library is full of diverse books for our diverse neighborhood.
