Diversity, knowledge and acceptance is what this world needs.
As benned book lists continue to grow, I think it’s important to share these stories with our kids – and communities – in any way possible.
We are a multi-racial and multi-cultural family living in a predominantly white neighborhood. It is important to me to provide my kids and my neighborhood with diverse books that include different cultures and races and promote empathy and inclusion.
I love to read
I think it would be a great thing for everyone to acknowledge and accept people who are different from them. I think that this is a great opportunity to be the start of that.
The gift of reading provides the power of thought, decision making, consideration, entertainment, and advancement. It is the source of equality and control. It is the greatest opportunity for ALL people.
