Readers should be able to identify themselves in literature. With book banning in my state of Florida, this has become even more important.
It is important to acknowledge the need to provide books for everyone. I am committed to provide diverse books for a wide range of readers. A free society acknowledges the need for a diverse library where readers are free to choose their books.
