Every child deserves and needs to see themselves or the people they love in books that they choose to read. Along with that, children need to be able to see their peers and their families in books that they are reading.
My kids need to grow up seeing all their friends depicted in books, not just themselves, as I did.

Founded over a Sunday Dinner discussion about diversity in the publishing industry, SDP aims to highlight inclusive authentic writing which brings everyone to the table.
