I believe representation matters and everyone should learn about other cultures and traditions, so we can see everyone as our equal no matter their gender, religion, ethnicity, skin color, etc.
Growing up Korean, ASe, and now married to a Mexican wife, I feel the need to promote all cultures and points of view.
Community gets stronger when we share stories, perspectives, and resources. I’m taking this pledge to help create a library where curiosity is encouraged, diversity is celebrated, and everyone belongs.
Everyone should feel seen and heard when reading a book.
