In a time when books are being banned and taken off shelves in schools, I want to be a resource for my community where everyone can see themselves or their story inside a book.
I believe diversity makes us richer.
Our LFL is in a very diverse neighborhood. It is extremely rewarding to see/hear children reading to (and teaching) their parents English!
To recognize our diverse community of students through literature.
