I love supplying books to my community. I feel reading is very important to both young and old. I get so many compliments of having my library available to everyone. My neighborhood loves it!!
Reading is the easiest way to put ourselves in others’ shoes to experience other perspectives and worlds.
The more diversity in storytelling the more diversity in our worldview!
When people get to see themselves reflected in the books they read they retain information from them more effectively and have models of people who look like them taking positive action! When young people read books about people who are different from them they build empathy that can transform society!
