It is especially important for children to read books that feature someone who looks like them, and has some of the same experiences they have. I can’t recommend a book for them if I haven’t read it!

So every little black child and adult can read a story that connects them with their own dreams.
If there is any hope to prejudice free society , has to be through books and our children .
