It is so important to represent our diverse world in literature and for children to see themselves in books and and know that anything is possible for people of every color!
I write and read diverse children’s books because, like mirrors and windows, it’s important for children to see themselves reflected in the pages of books and to see into the experiences of others unlike themselves.
I live in a rural area with a very large Hispanic population. I would love to offer more bilingual children’s books to them.
I love to read different books.
