I think it’s important we have more access to books that are of color. I am half Asian and would love to see books of different heritage come through my library.
As a children’s book author, I’m committed to building diversity in children’s literature.
Every child should be able to see themselves on the pages of a book.
I am taking this pledge because I was not exposed to BIPOC and LBGT+ literature so I am working to educate myself and others now.
