Diversity and representation make the world a better place!
I am a lifelong reader who raised two daughters who also love reading. Reading has taught them to always think of other people. We stand up to bullys and if we see something offensive or discriminatory we speak out.
As a Black woman I feel it is very important to read diversely!
Diversity and representation are vital.
As an institution of higher education, it is our responsibility to be an ambassador of this initiative.
