We all need to educate ourselves and our children about the beauty of diversity, embracing the wonder of different cultures, languages, and, cuisines and reaching out to those who have need, working for a world where everyone has freedom and opportunity..
I am a retired teacher and on a Literacy Council Board that supplies tutors for people from other countries that need and want to learn English. We value every single person and honor their culture, beliefs and diverse background. It’s what makes our country special.
I am working to be anti racist.
It is important that my children know that the world is made up for different people from different backgrounds and that’s what makes this a beautiful place.
We should all learn and grow together to help raise inclusive values everywhere. Everyone is important and should feel loved and heard.
