I believe everyone should read no matter what
As a child of a single mom, who worked in the migrant field we couldn’t afford books.. now, as a nonprofit school owner, I pledge to talk about, provide and read books that are diverse and inclusive. All children have a right to own books and see themselves in them.
Reading becomes even more enjoyable when you can see yourself reflected in the story.
I live in a diverse neighborhood with a lot of foot traffic.
