I am taking the pledge to Read In Color because diversity makes a difference.
The more we know about the lived experiences of others, the better we understand each other and can work toward building a more equitable and inclusive society.
I rarely saw myself in media growing up. I know that representation matters. I want to help others find themselves in books.
