Everyone deserves to see themselves in a book.
Books create an amazing opportunity to recognize and appreciate the unique differences in each of us!
Everyone needs access to books that involve their life, who they are, their heritage, language and what they look like.
It is important for me to utilize my resources and privilege to ensure spaces, uplift voices, and support those whose basic rights are too often infringed upon or denied. As a person of color (but raised culturally “white”) I choose to do this through books! FREADOM for all!
