I want my grandchildren to grow up in a world
with acceptance and unconditional love.
We read in color to support our diverse student population.
Our little library is antiracist, inclusive, and kind, and so proud to be part of the Read in Color community!
I live in a community that is not diverse & I know some of my neighbors do not share my views on inclusion so I’d like to offer books that will help them understand alternative lifestyles.
It is important for everyone to be diverse, open minded, non judgmental and to take on life not by yourself, but together- with strangers, friends, families, neighbors, etc. It takes one person to start change.
The place I live has a very diverse population and would like to spread the word of equality, justice, empathy and enablement to all the members to the best of my ability. I would love to start a little free library in my community.
