It is important for all to see themselves in books
Every reader deserves to be represented, informed, entertained, and educated by books.
Reading is for everyone. History doesn’t change if we ignore it.
To bring awareness to BIPOC authors and books.
We all deserve to feel represented in literature. I want to provide diverse voices and stories for my community. May people never grow up like I did, without seeing themselves represented in literature.
