I have been working hard, through workshops and seminars, to broaden my diversity library. This will give me a way to share what I’ve read with others!
I am a Montessori educator and have charge of two little free libraries. I love to choose and invest in books with children and diverse families of the global majority- non white that have positive tales to tell.
It is important for us to be reflective of our diverse community in our programs and our exhibits, but more importantly, what we provide to the next generation so they feel seen and heard within our walls.
