We provide groceries and some financial support to families in need. We serve a culturally diverse group and believe this supports our vision for our center.
Learning diversity through reading others’ stories is one of the most impactful ways to understand people whose experiences differ from your own. This nurtures empathy, which breaks down barriers and unifies us as people.
I want to increase diverse book access to all people regardless of color, income, neighborhood, or education. I want people to feel welcome to find books that they enjoy in our library.
As a former bookseller and an avid reader, I know how important diversity and representation in books is for kids and adults alike.
I find strength in diversity and wish to support all good people equally.

We are an LGBT family and we are committed to sharing books about our family and others you don’t often find at your local library.
I think diverse books need to be made available to everyone free! We can’t put a price on literacy.
