I believe every child should have every opportunity available to be able to learn as much as possible. Reading helped me out of poverty and I want to give back.
As a minority and first generation college graduate, it’s important to highlight these stories.
We spearhead a LGBTQA+ Pride organization that emphasizes the inclusion of all people in every aspect of community life.
My teaching professional goal is to do better by our students to bring literature that reflects who they are and where they come from. My students deserve to be represented through literature and deserve to see their cultures and who they are represented in positive lights. We can do better!

Our church is committed to building beloved community. Access to the work of BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and other marginalized voices in rural NH is limited, and stocking our library with these books is a small part of how we hope to share the experiences and stories with readers of all ages.
